Great Plains Health (GPHealth) is a fully accredited, 116-bed acute-care regional medical center serving western and central Nebraska, northern Kansas, and southern South Dakota.

Business Problem

GPHealth struggled to manage its approval hierarchy in its existing business software. On top of that, its business processes were very manual and very labor-intensive, resulting in heightened labor hours spent on tasks that could and are now automated.

Similarly, onboarding and training new staff on the existing system was difficult and cost-intensive. This was further challenged by GPHealth’s need to have dozens of approvers trained on the system. The AP Department struggled to keep pace with the needs of all the approvers. The process needed to be simplified and GPHealth decided to implement APIA to overcome these challenges.

Expense and purchase order training was simplified for the organization and elevated productivity among users and management.

GPHealth approval hierarchy, complicated due to the nature of their work, was supported and streamlined on APIA. This module was able to manage and integrate the complex hierarchy seamlessly.
